Club house bookings

Rent our Club house for your next event.

The "Clubhouse"

The “Clubhouse” at Ballina’s Hockey & Sports Complex is available for hire to various community groups and for private functions.

Its open space area is 60 m2 and comfortably seats 30 for a meeting with standing room for up to 50 people.

The front and side verandahs provide good protection from the weather and wheelchair access is provided into the facility.

A fully functioning commercial kitchen is available as well as provisions for basic tea/coffee.

The room has a limited number of tables/chairs/barstools, a TV, whiteboard, internet access and a microphone/speaker set up.

There is plenty of parking available and the room has ceilings fans, disabled toilets and is  also licensed to serve alcohol at various events.

Hire rates are negotiated with the club and requests for bookings can be made through the turf manager: turfbookings@ballinahockey.org.au or by contacting Tony Meldrum on 0421 612 991.

Insurance

Registration of players and officials through Hockey NSW includes coverage by their player accident insurance policy. Personal injury cover provides financial assistance in three key areas:

  • non-Medicare medical benefits
  • loss of income benefits
  • capital benefits

In case of injury

  • Inform your coach/team manager about the injury, and if relevant, note the injury on the match card
  • Contact the Club Secretary as soon as possible and report your injury in writing
  • Note the injury will need to be reported to the insurers within 30 days, so don’t delay
  • Log on to the Hockey NSW website and submit your claim.

  • doctor’s fees

In Case of Injury

Registration of players through Hockey NSW includes coverage by their player accident insurance policy. If you’ve been injured while playing or training and wish to make a claim, here’s what to do:

  • Inform your coach/team manager about the injury, and if relevant, note the injury on the match card.
